About CO2 Generator

At Youchi Gas, a team of seasoned engineers guarantees that each food-grade CO2 plant is correctly built and commissioned and that employees are trained in the right operating and maintenance methods.

A CO2 generator is a machine that enhances carbon dioxide levels to promote plant growth in greenhouses or other enclosed areas. Carbon dioxide generators have been used to help grow marijuana. They can be fueled with propane or natural gas. Commercial growers primarily used CO2 generators until smaller and less expansive systems made the technology more widely available to hobbyists. The generators also give off heat. Using compressed CO2 is an alternative to generators.

CO2 Generation Plant

The CO2 generation system is based on extracting the CO2 gas from the flue gases after combustion. The CO2 flue gas is washed in a DCC Tower with soda lye to separate the Sulfur (SO2 ) contents and for cooling and cleaning the flue gas.

The liquid carbon dioxide is now led to the absorber tower, where the lean MEA solution absorbs the CO2 contents of the flue gas and the residue gas, which is exhausted to the atmosphere.

The rich solution is fed to the stripper tower through a pump and a PHE to preheat it. The CO2 gas from the stripper is cooled and led to a series of purifier systems to remove the impurities and compressed in a non-lubricated two-state compressor to a pressure of less than 17.5 kg/sq. The CO2 liquid is then stored in a CO2 liquid storage tank.

How does an Air Separation Plant work?

Air separation plants utilizing cryogenic fractional distillation leverage differences in component boiling points to isolate purified nitrogen, oxygen, argon, and other rare gases from filtered air feedstocks. This methodology centers around a tightly integrated process cycle between compression, contaminant removal, cooling, distillation, and final storage phases.

Ambient air first undergoes multi-stage compression to increase pressure, improving downstream separation efficiency. Compressing the gas to 5-10 bar gauge augments process intensity. Before further handling, the air also passes through pre-purification stages to eliminate trace moisture, carbon dioxide, and particulates using molecular sieves or adsorbents. Guarding cryogenic elements from contaminant freezing and clogging ensures consistency.

The process then leverages heat exchangers for staged air cooling using closed-loop refrigeration cycles. As temperatures sequentially decrease to cryogenic levels below -180°C, the pressurized air stream liquefies into a cryogenic liquid air mixture. This prepares for the core fractional distillation methodology.

Cryogenic columns exploit the differing boiling points of key air components like nitrogen, oxygen, and argon to fractionate the liquid air. Nitrogen possesses the lowest boiling point at -196 °C and vaporizes first as the liquid ascends column stages and warmth increases. Oxygen follows by evaporating at -183°C with argon trailing at -186°C. Condensers recover the gases at the column top while reflux flows back down, maintaining continuous equilibrium. Side draws at intermediate tray locations allow argon and rare gas capture.

Final storage methods match the cryogenic or ambient temperature state of individual gases. Cryogenic tanks maintain liquefied nitrogen and oxygen before re-vaporization at usage points. Ambient pressure vessels store argon and other products using internal pressure rather than extreme cooling.

By leveraging staged heat transfer, air purification, specialized column configurations, and phase equilibrium fundamentals, cryogenic air separation units fracture single atmospheric feedstocks into isolated specialized gases, meeting a wide range of industrial purity, pressure, volume, and temperature specifications.

Does 100% Oxygen Exist?

100% oxygen may be administered in hospital settings, but only for brief periods of time (less than 24 hours, ideally less than 12 hours). Toxic effects, such as "hock lung," or adult respiratory distress syndrome, may result from breathing pure oxygen at that level for any length of time.

How Much Oxygen Generator Is There?

While industrial oxygen generators can fill a room, the smallest oxygen generators are no bigger than soda cans. However, the purpose of every oxygen generator is the same: to deliver a steady supply of concentrated oxygen gas.

Can You Purchase A Device That Produces Oxygen?

Utilizing an oxygen concentrator is one technique to provide the body with additional oxygen. Oxygen concentrators are medical devices that must be used with a prescription and must be over the age of 18. An oxygen concentrator should not be used at home unless it has been prescribed by a healthcare professional.
